Typical of my gemini spirit, I have not allowed the grass to grow under my feet. I refused to let retirement from a 45 year career in nursing, be a moment for mourning. As I wind down from that wonderful life which took me to personal and professional places I never knew, I am winding up to a new view of life’s possibilities. In writing and fulfilling other personal dreams offered to me, I understood that I was given a second chance in life. That second chance meant that I not only had to make those dreams worthwhile but also to help others learn and progress. An isolated path is a lonely one. There are those who will derive the most from that life but I understand it was not for me. My life is meant to be one of sharing, learning and teaching and I am open to all that has to offer.
